Connie owns and operates COJO Diving and is a PADI IDC Staff Instructor and EFR Instructor. Connie offers specialty training courses including Digital Underwater Photographer, Drysuit Diver, Deep Diver, Wreck Diver, Enriched Air Diver and Cavern Diver.

Connie has been diving since 2001, and has over 1700 dives as a recreational and technical diver. Connie has extensive experience diving the Bay of Fundy and Deer Island, and this has been a favourite spot for her to practice macro photography

She picked up her first underwater camera in 2003, a DX-10 Sea & Sea film camera.  Soon hooked, she bought an Ikelite housing for her digital Sony Cybershot and was taking hundreds of underwater pictures each year.  The camera collection soon grew to include a Canon Rebel DSLR, Canon G11, S90. and Canon 6D.  She has several magazine publications with her marine life pictures and they are used for education and marine life identification materials.

In March 2005 Connie was concerned that it was too difficult to find dive buddies in New Brunswick, and started the online messaging board "NB Divers".  The board was instantly popular with over 1000 messages being posted annually.  Today the board is retired but the community it supports continues on a Facebook Page (NB Divers).

She has traveled to Florida, Hawaii, Northeast USA, British Columbia, Newfoundland, Ontario, Nova Scotia and Quebec for cave, wreck and marine life diving.  Tech qualifications include Full Cave, Advanced Nitrox & Deco, and Normoxic Trimix.
